There are FOUR positions available for the program which will commence in March 2022. Each graduate will complete rotations through the Acute ward, District Nursing Service, Aged Care Facility and Operating Suite.

Support will be provided by clinical area preceptors and a clinical educator. There will also be many learning and development opportunities including:

  • A minimum of five graduate nurse study days which focus on the needs of the group. Examples of previous topics have included: the deteriorating patient, wound care, basic ECG interpretation, catheterisation
  • Dedicated supernumerary days for each rotation, with extra time for specialty areas
